Country themed engagement session | Tampa wedding photographers

This engagement session was so much fun and so different from most of our other sessions which tend to be in more urban settings. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we loved the challenge of trying something different and we are thrilled with the final images from this session. This couple selected a location north of Tampa. On the way there, we drove through lovely rolling hills which made us feel like we were in another state or country. This is such a lovely part of Florida that didn’t feel like the flat Florida landscape that we are so used to. We loved that the location had a really beautiful river meandering nearby. We loved the trees and landscape next to the river and how the river created some amazing reflections of the world around it. The morning light was beautiful and the weather was near perfect. Spring time in Florida can’t be beat!

Joe and Hannah are so in love and you can just feel the chemistry between these two. We loved how prepared they were for their session too. They had put together some cool props, had several really great outfits to change into and had shared some of their vision with us. Once we got there, we had a lot of fun getting to know them and even had a chance to meet their new puppy who also proved to be a great model for some pictures with the new “baby” in the family! The session itself was a lot of fun and we got to explore some really cool surrounding areas. Part of the river had really still water that created mirror-like reflections and provided us with some very dramatic scenes. Very dreamlike settings with wonderful light filtering through the trees and dramatic backdrops with the surrounding trees reflecting off the mirror like water. Other parts of the river had some faster moving water and some amazing cypress trees nearby. We are looking forward to the wedding in a few months. If this session is any indication, their wedding is going to be a lot of fun!

Silverthorn Golf & Country Club wedding | Brooksville, Florida | Tampa wedding photographers

As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we photograph many weddings all over the Tampa Bay area. We really love traveling to the many unique locations throughout the Tampa area and surrounding counties. This part of Florida has so many great locations. On this lovely spring day, we drove up to Brooksville to photograph another wedding at the lovely Silverthorn Golf and Country Club. We love how they set up the ceremony site overlooking a wonderful water backdrop. The early months of the year are such a wonderful time to get married outdoors in Florida. The temperatures are generally mild and the sweltering heat and humidity haven’t arrive yet. This day was the kind that makes people want to move to Florida. Wonderful blue skies dotted with white fluffy clouds and mild temperatures made it such a pleasure to be outdoors.

We had met Bobby and Nicole a few months prior and had a ton of fun when we photographed their engagement session in downtown Dunedin. We knew how down to earth they were and how much fun they were to be around. The wedding was everything that we knew it would be: fun, fun and more fun!! Everyone really got into helping this couple celebrate their wedding day. Bobby got ready at his parents house and shared some good laughs with his groomsmen as they got ready to leave for the wedding venue. Nicole got ready at her parents house and you could sense the excitement that everyone shared as they got finished with hair and makeup and everyone finished getting dressed. Since guys always seem to get ready much faster than the girls, we got to the venue early and took some really fun photos with the groomsmen. They looked dashing in their tuxedos and really had a lot of fun with their photos. Nicole arrived a little bit later and looked stunningly beautiful. Just as if she had just walked off a wedding fashion magazine. After the lovely outdoor ceremony everyone headed inside to get the party started. Bobby and Nicole shared a very emotional first dance together. You could really see how much they loved each other and how happy they were by the looks in their eyes as they spun around the dancefloor. After dinner it was really time for everyone to let loose and dance the night away. We wanted to capture all of the energy that we saw on that dance floor so we did some cool long exposure pictures that really show how much fun everyone was having at this beautiful wedding. We wish Bobby and Nicole a lifetime of married bliss!!

Vintage themed maternity session | Tampa maternity photographer

The following is a video slideshow of an amazing maternity session with did with Vanessa and James. This awesome couple wanted to do a vintage themed maternity session. They rocked it! Vanessa bought some great clothes and got her hair/makeup done the day of the session. We brought many of our antique & vintage props for the session as well. When we put it all together, we got some magical results. James and Vanessa were so comfortable in front of the camera and the late afternoon light, combined for some amazing images. We had a lot of fun on this session. The little one is due any day now and we are so excited for them. We know how much they love each other, what a lovely couple they are and what great parents they will be!!

Video | Westin Tampa Bay & Ceviche Tampa | Tampa wedding photographers

This video is made up of many of our favorite images from their wedding day. Sascha and Carlo got married at the Westin Tampa Bay. Overlooking the Tampa waterfront, you get amazing views from the 7th floor outdoor garden area and just priceless sunsets!

After the ceremony and the formals, everyone headed to Ceviche Tampa for the reception. The night consisted of great food, dancing and many tears of joy as everyone celebrated the joining of two families and two soulmates!

The Westin Tampa Bay wedding | Ceviche Tampa reception | Tampa wedding photographers

These are just some of our favorite images from the recent wedding of Sascha and Carlo. Sascha is such a lovely person and I discovered that we have so much in common. During our initial consultation and subsequent meetings, we never seemed to run out of interesting things to talk about. She has an amazing sense of style and such a lovely personality. Listening to her talk about Carlo, about how they met and how perfect they each were for each other was so heartwarming. After every meeting, we just couldn’t wait for their wedding day to arrive.

Sascha and Carlo got married on the gorgeous garden terrace on the 7th floor of the Westin Tampa Bay. This fabulous hotel offers some fantastic views of the waters of Tampa Bay and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect or romantic. The garden terrace was perfectly decorated with a stunning archway of gorgeous flowers and great little details. We loved how they included grapes into the arch, and later incorporated into the table center pieces at the reception. The backdrop to the ceremony was the sun gently lowering itself towards the horizon and later providing everyone with an amazing sunset. The weather was perfect and I don’t think you could have scripted a more beautiful day to say “I Do”.

After the wedding, everyone headed off to the Hyde Park area, where their reception would be held at the Ceviche Tampa restaurant. For those of you that haven’t gone before, this is an amazing restaurant with great atmosphere, fantastic food and really good music. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we shoot at lots of great locations, and this was another really amazing location. This location felt really cozy, and it felt as if we had been transported into some European farmhouse for an intimate wedding celebration and family reunion. Each table was decorated with fantastic centerpieces, and the entire décor of the room was really impressive. Lots of family was present and there was so much love shared by everyone. The speeches had Sascha and Carlo in tears, and were bringing tears to our eyes too as we photographed those precious family memories and emotional moments. All in all, this was an incredibly beautiful wedding and we were so honored to have been invited to capture these precious moments for this really beautiful couple. We wish Sascha and Carlo a lifetime of married bliss.
