The following are some of our favorite images from the gorgeous wedding of Lucien and Kendra. We first met this beautiful bride a few months ago, when she was visiting from Denver. Although she grew up in Tampa, she was now living in Denver and making a lot of the plans from Colorado. The meeting with her was great and we immediately knew we would get along great with her. We finally met the groom on the wedding day and he couldn’t have been any nicer. So funny and easy to get along with, which made photographing with him very easy! We got started at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel where everyone was getting ready. Once everyone was dressed, we took advantage of how beautiful this hotel is and captured many beautiful pictures before everyone headed out to the ceremony site.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Davis Island Yacht Club, which is such a beautiful location, surrounded by the waters of Tampa Bay. We were a little bit worried that it might rain, as the skies looked threatening for some time. Luckily, it never rained and we just had some wind and cloudy skies which helped create some very cool and dramatic pictures near sunset!
As for the wedding and reception, it was great! There were people who had flown in from all over the country and the world to help celebrate the union of these two amazing people. There were tears of joy and tons of laughter to be had throughout the night. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we always take a lot of pride in capturing the many beautiful little moments that make for a memorable wedding day. This wedding had so many precious little moments and we felt really honored to have spent this day and night in the company of so many wonderful people. We wish Kendra and Lucien all the best and a lifetime of married bliss!
Some of our favorite images from a recent engagement session we photographed in Ybor City. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we just love photographing engagement sessions. These sessions allow us to spend time with our couples and get to know them better. They are always relaxed and a lot of fun. We get to find out more about how they met, their unique love stories and each couple gets to know our personalities and shooting style. This is great because on their wedding day, they feel much more comfortable with us and they are much more relaxed and this results in great pictures on their wedding day!
We had so much fun on this session. We walked around Ybor and found some great locations. Dennis and Josie were both so much fun to hang out with and were always open to all of our photo ideas. We are thrilled by the results and cannot wait to photograph their upcoming wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate.
Video slideshow of recent engagement session we photographed in Ybor City. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we just love photographing in Ybor City. It is located just minutes from downtown Tampa, and is a great place to spend an afternoon. We had so much fun walking around Ybor and discovering some cool new spots to photograph. Dennis and Josie were both so much fun to hang out with and were always open to all of our photo ideas. We are thrilled by the results and cannot wait to photograph their upcoming wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate.
Some of our favorite images from recent engagement session that we photographed in downtown Tampa and also on the grounds of the University of Tampa. We met Jessica and Richard in front of the Glazers Childrens museum on a cold December morning. We got started by photographing at the Curtis Hixon Park and riverside part of the Tampa Museum of Art. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we love both of these locations because they offer some amazing backgrounds for our images. Luckily after a few minutes, everyone forgot about the chilly temperatures. We had a lot of fun talking and getting to know Jessica and Richard better.
After getting some great shots on this side of the river, we headed over to the campus of the University of Tampa, where we also captured some beautiful family photos with their precious little daughter. It was nice getting the opportunity to capture some great images of them and their daughter. Just seeing how they interacted with her and how much they love her, was so heartwarming! We love the way the pictures turned out. We had so much fun during our photo session and are eagerly looking forward to their April wedding at the Lake Club at Lakewood Ranch.
Below is a video containing many of our favorite images from the recent wedding of John and Glennis. They got married at the Davis Island Garden Club, located just minutes from downtown Tampa, Florida.
The following are some of our favorite images from the recent wedding of John and Glennis who got married at the Davis Island Garden Club. The venue is located next to the waterfront where the Hillsborough River meets Hillsborough Bay/Tampa Bay. This is such a beautiful location for a wedding and as experienced Tampa wedding photographers, this venue provided us with lots of great photo opportunities! Not only does it have great waterfront views, but the gorgeous Tampa skyline provides for some very dramatic backdrops, especially after the sun sets and the city lights light up the night sky.
Glennis got ready at the Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk hotel, which is centrally located in downtown Tampa. Due to it’s close proximity to the University of Tampa, after Glennis got dressed we stopped by the campus and captured some great pre-wedding images there, before heading off to Davis Island for the ceremony and reception. The day was beautiful and everything went along incredibly smoothly. DJ Chuck Amstone was phenomenal as usual and kept everyone dancing and entertained the whole night. He provided a photo booth with was a huge hit with all of the guests. Dinner was superb and we loved watching how the catering team cooked an amazing paella on the very large pan for everyone to admire prior to dinner service. This was a beautiful wedding and a very memorable night for everyone present. We wish John and Glennis a lifetime of happiness and wedded bliss!!
The following are some of our favorite pictures from Day 2 of the two day Indian wedding we recently photographed. As we mentioned before, Day 1 took place at the incredibly cool Hindu Temple of Florida, which is located in Tampa. That day involved a marching drum crew, a horse drawn carriage, and an incredibly beautiful and colorful ceremony.
Day 2 was the Christian ceremony and was held at the elegant Kapok Tree Special Events venue that is located in Clearwater, Florida. The day started off for the groom at the Westin Tampa Bay, where he and the groomsmen got ready before being picked up by a stretch Hummer stretch limousine and a gorgeous Rolls Royce. After the beautiful ceremony, everyone celebrated in the grand hall. After dinner, the couple and guests were treated to singing, belly dancing, and lots and lots of dancing. The dance floor was jam packed, and everyone had an amazing time celebrating the joyful union of Cliff and Lisa. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we love when we get the opportunity to photograph wonderful Indian weddings like these. They are always grandiose and incredibly fun events. We love the colors, the pageantry and the family centric nature of these events. We are already looking forward to our next event!
