The Westin Tampa Bay wedding | Ceviche Tampa reception | Tampa wedding photographers

These are just some of our favorite images from the recent wedding of Sascha and Carlo. Sascha is such a lovely person and I discovered that we have so much in common. During our initial consultation and subsequent meetings, we never seemed to run out of interesting things to talk about. She has an amazing sense of style and such a lovely personality. Listening to her talk about Carlo, about how they met and how perfect they each were for each other was so heartwarming. After every meeting, we just couldn’t wait for their wedding day to arrive.

Sascha and Carlo got married on the gorgeous garden terrace on the 7th floor of the Westin Tampa Bay. This fabulous hotel offers some fantastic views of the waters of Tampa Bay and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect or romantic. The garden terrace was perfectly decorated with a stunning archway of gorgeous flowers and great little details. We loved how they included grapes into the arch, and later incorporated into the table center pieces at the reception. The backdrop to the ceremony was the sun gently lowering itself towards the horizon and later providing everyone with an amazing sunset. The weather was perfect and I don’t think you could have scripted a more beautiful day to say “I Do”.

After the wedding, everyone headed off to the Hyde Park area, where their reception would be held at the Ceviche Tampa restaurant. For those of you that haven’t gone before, this is an amazing restaurant with great atmosphere, fantastic food and really good music. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we shoot at lots of great locations, and this was another really amazing location. This location felt really cozy, and it felt as if we had been transported into some European farmhouse for an intimate wedding celebration and family reunion. Each table was decorated with fantastic centerpieces, and the entire décor of the room was really impressive. Lots of family was present and there was so much love shared by everyone. The speeches had Sascha and Carlo in tears, and were bringing tears to our eyes too as we photographed those precious family memories and emotional moments. All in all, this was an incredibly beautiful wedding and we were so honored to have been invited to capture these precious moments for this really beautiful couple. We wish Sascha and Carlo a lifetime of married bliss.

Private ranch wedding | Brooksville wedding | Tampa wedding photographers

These are some of our favorite images from the recent wedding we photographed in a private ranch in Brooksville. Peggy and Nicholas have such a wonderful personality and from the very first meeting, we knew that we were going to have a great time with them. We really appreciated how much they wanted us to be their wedding photographers and the fact that they really made a big effort to ensure we had plenty of time to do photography at many of the great scenic locations found throughout the ranch they chose as their wedding venue.

As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we photograph at so many wonderful venues around the Tampa Bay region. We love the variety of scenery that they all offer. As nature lovers, we really enjoy when we get to photograph outdoors. As animal lovers, this wedding had us overjoyed! Not only were we photographing in a gorgeous outdoor location, but we also got to photograph with horses! We had an amazing time capturing lots of the many precious moments that made up this beautiful wedding.

Video | Ybor City love session | Tampa wedding photographer

The following video contains some of our favorite images from a recent destination photo shoot. This couple is from Boston and was flying into the Tampa area for vacation. They contacted us because they wanted to have some professional photos taken that would really show off how much they loved each other. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we are always flattered when couples look at our website and love our images so much that they want to hire us to capture some amazing images of them too. We take a lot of pride in what we do and work very hard to capture lots of unique and very special images for all of our clients.

Once we all got to Ybor City and met up, we started walking around and showing them some of our favorite spots. After a few minutes of getting acquainted with everyone, they started to really get comfortable with the photo shoot and we had a lot fun. We really love to get to know all of our couples and find out how they met, what they enjoy to do together and what kind of plans they have for their future. This couple was so cute and we really had a lot in common with them. They love old historic buildings and antique furniture, and that is right up our alley too. On those rare weekends when we don’t have a wedding, engagement session or other portrait session, we really love to check out antique stores or even just sit back on our couch and watch American Pickers or some home remodeling show. So needless to say, we had a great conversation and vibe throughout the photo shoot. We are thrilled at how good the images turned out and would love to photograph this awesome couple the next time they are in the Tampa area or anywhere else they might want us to photograph them!

Video | Davis Island Yacht Club wedding | Tampa wedding photographer

The following are some of our favorite images from the gorgeous wedding of Lucien and Kendra. We first met this beautiful bride a few months ago, when she was visiting from Denver. Although she grew up in Tampa, she was now living in Denver and making a lot of the plans from Colorado. The meeting with her was great and we immediately knew we would get along great with her. We finally met the groom on the wedding day and he couldn’t have been any nicer. So funny and easy to get along with, which made photographing with him very easy! We got started at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel where everyone was getting ready. Once everyone was dressed, we took advantage of how beautiful this hotel is and captured many beautiful pictures before everyone headed out to the ceremony site.

The ceremony and reception took place at the Davis Island Yacht Club, which is such a beautiful location, surrounded by the waters of Tampa Bay. We were a little bit worried that it might rain, as the skies looked threatening for some time. Luckily, it never rained and we just had some wind and cloudy skies which helped create some very cool and dramatic pictures near sunset!

As for the wedding and reception, it was great! There were people who had flown in from all over the country and the world to help celebrate the union of these two amazing people. There were tears of joy and tons of laughter to be had throughout the night. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we always take a lot of pride in capturing the many beautiful little moments that make for a memorable wedding day. This wedding had so many precious little moments and we felt really honored to have spent this day and night in the company of so many wonderful people. We wish Kendra and Lucien all the best and a lifetime of married bliss!

Ybor engagement session | Tampa wedding photographer | Eva Photo Studio

Some of our favorite images from a recent engagement session we photographed in Ybor City. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we just love photographing engagement sessions. These sessions allow us to spend time with our couples and get to know them better. They are always relaxed and a lot of fun. We get to find out more about how they met, their unique love stories and each couple gets to know our personalities and shooting style. This is great because on their wedding day, they feel much more comfortable with us and they are much more relaxed and this results in great pictures on their wedding day!

We had so much fun on this session. We walked around Ybor and found some great locations. Dennis and Josie were both so much fun to hang out with and were always open to all of our photo ideas. We are thrilled by the results and cannot wait to photograph their upcoming wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate.

Engagement session | Tampa wedding photographer | Eva Photo Studio

Some of our favorite images from recent engagement session that we photographed in downtown Tampa and also on the grounds of the University of Tampa. We met Jessica and Richard in front of the Glazers Childrens museum on a cold December morning. We got started by photographing at the Curtis Hixon Park and riverside part of the Tampa Museum of Art. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we love both of these locations because they offer some amazing backgrounds for our images. Luckily after a few minutes, everyone forgot about the chilly temperatures. We had a lot of fun talking and getting to know Jessica and Richard better.

After getting some great shots on this side of the river, we headed over to the campus of the University of Tampa, where we also captured some beautiful family photos with their precious little daughter. It was nice getting the opportunity to capture some great images of them and their daughter. Just seeing how they interacted with her and how much they love her, was so heartwarming! We love the way the pictures turned out. We had so much fun during our photo session and are eagerly looking forward to their April wedding at the Lake Club at Lakewood Ranch.
