We recently found out that one of our recent brides was expecting a baby. We were so happy for them. We had just photographed their gorgeous wedding last May. Not too long after their wedding, they found out that God would be blessing them with a little angel.

Being a photographer is so rewarding. As Tampa wedding photographers, we get to share in the celebration of each couples love for each other. Weddings are such happy events and we love being a witness to so much love and being able to capture those precious memories for each of our couples. We love the friendships that we develop with our couples and we love to hear back from them and find out about all of the great events that they go through together. One of the happiest events is when they find out they are expecting and a building their own little family.

We are always honored when many of these couples call us to photograph their maternity photos and later on their newborn baby sessions. We love becoming their family photographer and we are always so honored to be able to capture these other wonderful stages of their lives and create some new family treasures and heirlooms. Brandon and Alyssa are such a loving and thoughtful couple. We know that they will make wonderful parents. Their strong belief in God, their family values and the great support of their families will ensure that their little angel will be well taken care of. We are looking forward to his arrival, so that we can capture some beautiful images of him!

Proud member of PPA and WPPI – Tampa wedding photographer

Even though we were recently recognized as one of the top 5% of wedding photographers, we continually strive to offer the highest quality images and best possible experience for our customers.  To achieve that goal, Eva Photo Studio is a proud member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International).   These associations provide a wealth of important information that help us stay up to date on all of the latest developments in the photography industry, particularly those that relate to wedding and portrait photography.  We subscribe to some of the most influential magazines in the industry (Rangefinder, Professional Photographer).  These magazines contain a lot of information on what other world famous photographers and photo studios are doing to provide an unforgettable client experience. Whatever we aren’t already doing, we try to incorporate into our own daily process.

An additional benefit of being a member of these professional associations is the opportunity to participate in their annual photography conventions.  These conventions offer many classes that are given over the course of several days and range in topics from Marketing, Photoshop, Lighting techniques, album design and many others.  These are a great opportunity to stay on the cutting edge of the latest tools and techniques that we can implement right away to improve the look of our images.  These conventions also have trade shows where all of the best vendors in the industry display their latest products and offerings.  From camera and lens manufacturers (Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Tamron, Sony), the best album manufacturers (GraphiStudio, Finao, PictoBooks), and the best photo labs in the nation (Black River Imaging, Bay Photo, H&H Color Lab, Nations Photo Lab), we are always impressed at the vast array of new and exciting products that they present every year.  Being able to try out and examine all of the latest technology and products allows us to stay at the forefront of the industry.  It can be expensive to fly out to Las Vegas for a week but we see this as an investment in the future and in our clients.  All of this hard work and investment allows Eva Photo Studio to be one of the best Tampa wedding photographers and we will continue to push to get even better!

Maternity portrait session – Tampa maternity photographer – www.evaphotostudio.com

This has been a busy month for maternity portrait sessions. We just did another lovely maternity portrait session with Mindy. We were very excited to photograph this session and spent many days preparing and dreaming up some great ideas, both indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately it rained and was very cold the day of the session, so we had to photograph entirely indoors. Luckily, we still had a lot of great ideas and Mindy was very open to try all of the posing suggestions. We spent a few hours doing a lot of different poses and talking about a variety of different things. Time just seems to fly when we photograph our clients.

We were able to talk a lot about her pregnancy and booked a baby session once her little angel is born. She doesn’t want to know if it is a boy or a girl until the day of the birth. This is so exciting, as we are really looking forward to finding out if we will be photographing a little boy or a little girl. As a Tampa maternity portrait photographer, it is so exciting to capture these beautiful mothers as they prepare for their newborns, and later to photograph those little ones and watch them grow up. We wish her a safe pregancy and look forward to seeing her and her little angel very soon. In the meantime, we have captured many beautiful images from her pregnancy that she will be able to treasure forever and pass on to her little one later on.

Maternity portrait session – Tampa maternity photographer – www.evaphotostudio.com

This past Sunday we photographed a wonderful maternity session. Prior to the session, we scouted several locations and came up with a lot of great ideas. We really wanted some beautiful outdoor images, along with some studio images. Luckily the weather on Sunday was very nice. Not too cold or too hot, just about perfect. We first headed out to a nearby lake and field to take some pictures with her in the first outfit. These pictures turned out great, especially the ones with the black outfit flowing beautifully in the afternoon breeze. As a Tampa maternity portrait photographer, we couldn’t have asked for a better model. Kristen was so easy to work with, and although she swore she has never modeled before, she was incredibly at ease in front of the camera and was always happy to try out all of our suggested poses and ideas.

After some time at the first location, we headed out to the second location where we trekked into a wooded area that had a nice open area, completely surround by trees. The afternoon sun shone through the trees and created some magical images. Some of our favorite images were taken during this part of the session.

After finishing the outdoor shots, we headed back to the studio. We picked up some snacks and prior to taking more pictures, just sat around eating and getting to know Kristen better. Soon afterwards, we started taking pictures in our studio. We captured a lot of great images that afternoon, too many to add to this posting. Below are just a few of our favorite images. We wish Kristen a continued safe pregnancy and look forward to seeing her beautiful little angel, after he is born.
